Our Inner Orchestra

Our inner self is much like an orchestra, with different parts of us strumming a tune. Each part has its own strength in the orchestra, sometimes some stand out more than others. It is an amazing collaboration if we allow each part to do what it does best. Sometimes the instruments oppose each other because they are attempting to find their part in the whole of our orchestra. That is why we must allow our inner song to rise to the surface --so that we can hear its tune and give it a voice. So that our song can make sense to us and we can begin seeing and hearing what needs to be tuned in or tuned out.

Confusion enters our life when we have tunes in us that we are trying to make sense of prematurely. Our inner players have not yet learned their parts, we are forcing them to play while they are struggling to make sense of where they fit.

I also like to think of confusion as the cubby holes that we once had in pre-school; where we placed our coats and galoshes before beginning our day of play. Each cubby hole was labeled with the name of a student. This is much like how our brains work, as we learn new things or have new experiences; our brain processes it and neatly places it into its proper cubby hole.  But occasionally there is no label yet for an experience, so the brain struggles to find a place to store an experience. This process places us into a state of confusion, where we are struggling to make sense of an experience. It is only temporary though--a little more living and
experience eventually corrects it.

Our inner orchestra practices through our experiences. It is in the moments of our experiences that the heart, mind and spirit practices collaborating. Sometimes our practices are out of tune and other times we play seamlessly together. But through living and more experience each instrument heart, mind and spirit; finds its place in our whole. And with God in our hearts-- the mind, heart and spirit can soar and become one.

So this week ladies allow the tunes of your heart, mind and spirit to surface, they each have a tune to play for you, individually and as a whole.

Go Forth and Do Amazing Things This Week

Kind Regards,

Pauline
