Our Inner Child

I had an epiphany today regarding the little girl that lies in all of us. Once the little girl was afraid and lonely and was curled up in a corner, just as she was 30 years ago.  But today when I  experience the little girl she is laughing and skipping and playing inside. Imagery is an amazing tool in healing the little girl inside. If we only can get to her and tell her that all that we have gone through has been to bring us together as one.  I now imagine her walking with me and me holding her and telling her that we are OK and that we are safe.  And that what happened to us so many years ago is a thing of the past. And that we can walk together now because I now know that GOD is protecting us.  He has covered us and joined us together as one. And that I am now strong enough to protect us and take us on to our destiny. We both now know that FEAR is not real and that we can face things together, free from false evidence appearing real.

Getting in touch with our inner child is an amazing experience, once we can experience her, we can heal her. We can soothe her and enrich her with new experiences that allow her to work with us and not against us. Our inner child is the place in us that is hidden to the visual eye, it is the place that all hurt and pain from our childhood lies, it is the place that when it is uncovered and we tap into GOD's love that the healing begins. Once the door is open and we allow GOD in--she can be healed and renewed. She can be convinced that all is well and that no matter what we experience we will do it together. We trust one another and know that we have each others back. Whatever we go through we talk it through... and rationalize our endeavors. We are an amazing team that works seamlessly together. Because we now know that we are a trinity.YOU, ME and GOD.

So this week ladies let GOD in your life and allow him to heal the inner child,..his perfecting work is amazing!

Pauline Respress, M.Ed., We can learn a lot about faith by watching a mere leaf float on water. The leaf calmly floats even though it is surrounded by a vast amount of water. The leaf is not flailing it is accepting where it is and embracing it. This is much how I see faith. We Must "Be Love" to "Have Love" ....

This journey is teaching me a lot of things, but the most profound lesson that I have learned is that in order to have love in our lives, we must be the love that we want to see. It is easy to be hate, because hate does not require much work, hate does not require-- practicing forgiveness or understanding or compassion; it merely requires finding reasons to not do the work required to get to more love in our lives. Loving at times --can be messy, it requires letting down all of our guards and diving into unknown places --while abandoning all of our fears and reservations. Loving is an action word, it is the rolling up of our sleeves and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable enough-- to take the punches that sometimes accompanies getting to love. We all come equipped with artificial guards that protect and soothe us--they are the warm blankets that protect us from the world. But sometimes in order to get to more love-we must be willing to lower our guard and share the love...

Paschal's Wager

Paschal's Wager is a suggestion posed by French philosopher writer and mathematician, Blaise Paschal, that clearly rationalizes (for me) our belief in Christ.  Paschal believed that in deciding on accepting religion we must first view it as a wager, betting on the fact that God exist and if he doesn't we lose nothing. If he doesn't we have lived a life that is guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and we have lived as though we have faith, we have also lived an enriched life that is based primarily on love. Some may argue that this rationalization is far-fetched and that they cannot place all of their belief in something or someone that they can not see and that the teachings are merely dogma that people use to hide behind. But for me --I'd rather hide behind love than not--I'd rather be guided by principles that enrich my life than not.
