Purpose

When we attach our vision to purpose...then it has wings. Our vision is something that must manifest(s) in and for the greater good, in doing so we find our own purpose. Some may have great vision; but it dies,  because it does not advance mankind. It does not connect itself to the universe.

You see the universe is a vast place that all of its inhabitants have a common thread that connects us. And when we tap into that, when we can tap into one little piece of the world, that we can advance; then we have found purpose.Then we are doing something, that is greater than ourselves. Greater than what we see in front of us.

Our vision is given to us by GOD and when god gives us a vision, it is nurtured and manifested by HIM. He knows everything that we need to make our vision unfold. So our task is,  to stay in communion with HIM as to get further directions and instructions. We get our instructions by being silent in ourselves, by listening and waiting patiently for the things that we need ,to present themselves.

One thing that I know for certain is that if we pray and diligently wait on HIM,  then the things that we need, desire and want will in fact appear. Our needs are not always what we would like to see happen, but they will happen because they are designed to help us grow. And growth is not always happy and easy, it is at times painstaking.  But rest assured that  in the end it is all worth it. The release that we feel after a growing stage --is an awesome place to be in.

So this week ladies as you journey in finding your true purpose, remember that the road may be a little rocky and be sure not to trip on any of the lessons. Because they are deisgned for us to stumble but to immediatley get back up and continue walking!

Pauline Respress, M.Ed., We can learn a lot about faith by watching a mere leaf float on water. The leaf calmly floats even though it is surrounded by a vast amount of water. The leaf is not flailing it is accepting where it is and embracing it. This is much how I see faith. I see the spirit as the water and my physical self as the leaf.  My spirit guides me as to where I need to be, but I must trust my spirit to carry me. We Must "Be Love" to "Have Love" ....

This journey is teaching me a lot of things, but the most profound lesson that I have learned is that in order to have love in our lives, we must be the love that we want to see. It is easy to be hate, because hate does not require much work, hate does not require-- practicing forgiveness or understanding or compassion; it merely requires finding reasons to not do the work required to get to more love in our lives. Loving at times --can be messy, it requires letting down all of our guards and diving into unknown places --while abandoning all of our fears and reservations. Loving is an action word, it is the rolling up of our sleeves and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable enough-- to take the punches that sometimes accompanies getting to love. We all come equipped with artificial guards that protect and soothe us--they are the warm blankets that protect us from the world. But sometimes in order to get to more love-we must be willing to lower our guard and share the love...

Christmas 2018 Reflection

As I reflect on 2018, I am just amazed and at awe of how God has grown me, things that have pained me for years are slowly moving away and I am beginning to see the "me" that I have worked so hard to master..Broken places are being healed and love is beginning to peak through to reveal its magnificent power, Life is messy and at times it can feel almost overwhelming, it can literally take your breath away. But at the end of the rope is where God steps in and takes charge,.. if you believe it.. He makes things that were once muddy (clear)..he tells you who you are and who you are not. He is honest with you even when the people around you are not. He soothes, he comforts and most importantly he restores. We all walk around with the facade of busyness, I'm too busy to spend time with you, I'm too busy to call, I'm too busy to check on you..Busy, Busy, Busy.
